That was seemingly the theory (at least, that's what the TVTropes collective seemd to think), but according to the wiki she betrays them at the end of Near Light (and nearly gets killed by a Lazurite herself)

We might see how the Pinus team and the Nearls will react to Platinum in a future event. But there might be resentment despite her turning coat.

Sigh .... another shady corrupted faction to the list

What really happened. By the end of Nearl Light, the Armorless Union failed in their coup attempt to take control of the KGCC and failed to assassinate Nearl, who has become a symbol of hope and rebellion for the Infected and the Kazimierz military. As a result, the leaders of the Armorless Union go into hiding and Roy and Monique decide to make Platinum the scapegoat to save their assess, which was the final straw for Platinum which made her quit. However, the Armorless Union try to kill her for quitting, only to be save by Rhodes Island. While Platinum admits to the Doctor that she no longer is part of the Armorless Union, she's still an employee of the KGCC since she obeyed their orders to stand down and not attack Rhodes Island after the two groups reached a deal for the latter to continue operating in Kazimierz, hence why some are wary of her.
