She threw her back. It happens sometimes when you bend over the wrong way. I can attest to that (has happened to me twice now).

I know it's wrong, but I'd like to interpret it as Haku cleaning, Yowaneko is in the way. She picks up Yowaneko, who uses his psychic powers to hurt Haku's back in revenge
