Did my best to translate at least their names (since I'm more used to Japanese then Chinese), and the Hunter seems to be the only one who's name isn't the same as her Exotic armor. Unless this is the Chinese translation for Liar's Handshake? Or would this be the transcription? Transliteration? I dunno the actual term...

Looking up wikis give me "骗徒的握手", a direct translation of Liar's Handshake as the official CN name.
Looking up "赌徒的握手" gives a single hit on Google. Maybe it's a fan translation or nickname?

Could be. One of the pixiv comments talked about the artist playing Destiny and used 土命 instead of 天命, which I assumed is the Chinese translation for the game. Google Translate and DeepL did not help as well as I hoped lmao.

Searching Chinese forums tell me that they call it 土命 as a joke (and pun on 天命, the official HK/Taiwan CN title) because of Destiny 2's botched release. In particular the lack of content at release and the "lame"-looking initial character models. 土 is also slang for calling something/someone "lame", "outdated", "plain-looking", etc. So 土命 here can be translated as "Lame Destiny" or more succinctly "Derpstiny".
