True. But she did sink a battleship and avenge herself after the Germans took credit for sinking her. Her boys showed themselves to not be gentle even if their assignment was not as prestigous as others. One Riot, One Ranger.

Ranger was not roughly equivalent to Ryuujou. RJ was almost half the displacement and 54m shorter than Ranger. While Ranger's displacement was modest, she was a fully fledged fleet carrier rather than a light carrier in terms of her air group's capabilities.
