Yeah ... it cost him the flying bike if some of the translations I'm seeing are correct. Oh, and like ALL of the money they had earned from those singing stones.

At least there were no children and dogs involved.

That was surprisingly quick and painless. I was hoping to see more of our bearded friends.

I wonder if they put any specialized tools in those prosthetics? They are dwarves after all and dwarves love overbuilding things.

If you tell me at the start of this series that there will be majick flying bikes and hard-tech cyborg prosthetics, I would be calling you a liar.

This is almost Elona-like. Next thing you know, they are boarding a giant spaceship, being attacked by mechas, and killing a giant bacteria angel.

Um... I don't remember any of that from when I played Elona, aside from the mechas. When did all that get patched in? I might need to download it again and fine a English language patch...

    It's from the expansion, IIRC.
Also there's also an Elona mobile game that goes further than the Elona+ or the Custom GX version, and even more recently Elin Store has been released on Steam.

Oh, looks like the mobile game is even in English. Wonder if I can still use my old mutated bell strategy...

Yeah, this chapter seemed a bit rushed compared to others. Would have been nice to see a montage of the construction and fitting of the prosthetics. Maybe if the series continues we'll learn more about the dwarves and their part in Apothecary-san's past.

There's no bell in that version. Also the penalty for having 'complicated' trait is far harsher than the PC version, not to mention 'rerolling' your limbs needs premium currency. Those who choose Mutant needs to be very lucky or a whale to get the perfect 13 body parts, but they have new uniques that can compensate some issues.

Ah, in Elona I used to just reroll till I got to Wish for a Rod of Domination, Dominate a Silver or Gold bell, then genetically engineer them to have arms so I could equip them with either machine guns or bows. Their sheer speed meant they basically turned into living Gatling guns. It make the game laughably easy, to be fair, so I can see why they removed bells.

It was a lot more ridiculous in Elona+ back in the day. I used bell of emergency, which naturally provoke and weaken nearby enemies. Then I gave it 4 arms and 4 lightsabers. It pasted the final boss of Act.2 in a single turn.

Nowadays multi-hit got hit with a couple of nerfs so it evens out. So were the bells because speed/turn got nerfed too.

The prosthetic arm and leg that Madrily whipped up were perfect. While I thought they clearly looked a bit too well-made for just being used for normal, everyday life, I couldn't really voice any complaints.

Thank you so much! We'll be back again... for sure!
But aside from the return fare we'd need, they wrung us dry of every penny we had...
Be sure to take it easy until you get used to 'em~
After 3 or 4 days of fine-tuning, the two of us left Volstein. The air gaul's fuselage was left in Madrily's care, so we took the land route to the portal and from there made our way home. I think being able to make our way back walking side-by-side for the first time made us both extremely happy.
