I was hoping for the "Sakana~" meme to appear as the subject of fish came up.

Nyaryl is much stronger (emotionally) than her big version. More childlike fearlessness. But it makes her less tsundere.

Drew a blank on a English-equivalent joke for the anego -> anago wordplay here, so ruby it is.
I'm not 100% sure on the reference/joke Ru-chan is trying to make in the third panel, but I'm leaning heavily toward it being Doraemon.

Guess Nyaryl is getting fish from Ruka, then.

More like unlike her big version, she isn't emotionally abused by her "parents".

Strong emotions can filter through. For example, Pecorine hated Kaiser so much that she would occasionally refer to him as a "he" even though in Astrum Peco only saw Kaiser's female avatar.
