Well, Silent protagonist != no personality, silent character. It was heavily implied that Minato was practically mute (given statements from Mitsuru and Shinjirou who flat out say he doesn't say much and is nigh-unreadable) and that was reflected in his design. FeMC seems to be more emotional and talkative just from design alone.
