All the more reason for people to get acquainted with the manga. From the first few chapters it feels as though you're watching the game in manga form, but then it takes a turn into pure awesomeness (well, up until the Diamond and Pearl chapters).

True that, the first few volumes' drawing may look a bit childish but they were pretty good. The yellow saga was really powerful and really stared showing the potential of the Pokemon Special manga. And it just gets better in the gold/silver chapter and ruby/sapphire saga, but something about diamond/pearl chapter just doesn't make it as good as the previous chapters.
I'm only up to volume 9, but ya, at this point, the Yellow saga was totally the highest point in the manga so far. I'd kill to have Volume 7 in anime form. Assuming it didnt get butcherd.

the only part that I find bad is the more childish storyline (ironic considering how violent the sinnoh games were) and the manzai.....they are funny though
