Goes to show how long it took for S2 to come out... Pretty sure the Pacific War wrapped up in a shorter time than how much time has passed between post #3392830 and this one; not to mention how long it took for Season 2 to come out after it was first announced in 2015.

It's kind of relatable on anime given "5 minutes before Namek explodes" turned into 10 episodes. That's almost a full season.
Meanwhile, within that 7 years, Shinkai Makoto and Hosoda Mamoru each produced (nearly) three complete movies, Demon Slayer started and finished its publication on WSJ, and Umamusume went from yet-to-be-announced to going through development hell and celebrating its 1.5th anniversary. I'd say it dragged on a bit too much even by Namek standards.
