Just like Scaramouche, Tartaglia is here to infest another one of my characters' tags with some disgusting and baseless ship that some delusional people think would totally 100% work, but it's ok, Blacklist is a thing and I don't have to deal with their mental health issues myself.

Is there something to misunderstand? The fact Zhongli was ready to step in doesn't change the fact that Childe still went ahead and caused the disaster because he thought it would actually be catastrophic, he didn't know about Zhong's plan. He legitimately is a piece of shit, but I guess that's exactly why the yumes like him so much. And yes girls, I called your husbando a funny nickname and I'm gonna do it again. As for the Yoi, even though I can't blame people for calling her dumb I guess she's just nice to a fault, literally.

Childe is by no means an angel, but he also isn't the complete psychopath people like to portray him as. His plan with unleashing Osial was that he figured out Rex Lapis was still alive and that he would come to Liyue's rescue. He only didn't because of Zhongli's own plan. Childe didn't like "involving the weak" but he had to do what had to be done. He's a Harbinger after all. You don't have to like him. He isn't my favorite either but he's definitely one of the more interesting and well written one.

Nobody here said he's badly written or that he's a psychopath, the point is whether or not he had his reasons or his orders doesn't excuse his attempted mass murder. No matter how you look at it, he still went ahead with it knowing full well that in case the archon didn't do anything, the possibility the city could be destroyed was extremely high. I'm not telling anyone to like him or not, just don't try to hide behind the "you didn't understand the story" card. He is a dangerous man that doesn't shy away from employing dangerous means even if he doesn't like it, that's a fact. Hearing Yoi dismiss what he did just because she saw him being nice to a couple of kids was like nails on a chalkboard, that's mainly what some people have issues with, and I really can't blame them.

Worst part is that we are only getting this interaction to justify his rerun, like, his first rerun makes no sense history-wise, the second one sure does, cuz he appears on the event, but, the first one, Windblume Festival, he doesn't even show up, so, baseless.
