And this is why the Salamanders are my favourite Chapter- even more so than the Ultramarines (who I'll admit, are my second favourite, Ward be damned).
It takes a strong will to care in universe as cruel as the 40k, where their no ture good faction, but there would be good people. For how long they can stay that way, well I imagine there are many who try to crush/use those who care.
