    That's what happens when not only are they aged down, but they've also been chibified.

    On the technical side, using the above picture as a framework, and assuming Shiho is 170cm and Erika is around 40% of Shiho's height, then that would put Erika's height at around 70cm. Looking at the official growth charts, the height range for a girl at age 5 should be around 100cm to 120cm, so around double her current height. With realistic unchibified arms, that would put her well within range of the depicted doorbell. Which jives with my own experience, as I cannot recall a time when I couldn't reach any doorknob or doorbell.
