Well, damn. Was kind of hoping it was the samurai/wraith/yokai/whatever being forced to work at the shrine as penance like @Kyrozen suggested in post #5851458, but I guess this shows that it really is the original miko. May have won, but she really got chewed up in the process then.

It was a bit of a long shot with the hair/ribbon being the same, but one could have hoped.

I'd say any fight like that you can walk away from is a win... but with those bandages and the glowing red eye, I'm not sure she got out with her life, let alone her limbs. Almost looks like she got bisected at the waist. And yet, she still won. I kind of wish we had actually seen that fight, it must have been truly epic.

I'm sure I speak for a lot of us when I say, I hope we can see Mamiko turn back to normal eventually.

Would have been hilarious if the she just made defeated yokais work in the shrine honestly, but the Mamiko pun is also funny.
