Leave a question here: So how many male official character so far?
I know there is abyssal_chain_clown_oni, and an athlete/performer play admiral in the ice rink.
And then there is this one.
There is the head of their arsenal (whatever the position is called), he hasn't been named or had any lines yet, but he has a unique design and Mogami is seen working with him on the equipment.

It's weird isn't it? How with just one episode, we go from some lifeless, purgatory like hellscape that functions like the browser game, to a vibrant Japan with actual humans who help maintain the base and are living their everyday lives outside of the conflict. Kind of wish they had done this earlier.
He gives a familiar aura, as if he clips tickets in a teathre for undercover purposes while he leads a group of actresses piloting mecha like armors to combat evil forces when the time arrives. I'll give second season a chance.

He does have a Sakura Taisen feel to him, now that you mention it...

Same. So many things are just better in this season. I suppose the reason was as always: money.
I especially didn't expect this guy to show up and actually say something. Abyssals speaking in full sentences or, in the case of common mooks, doing something more than just standing there were already more than I anticipated.
