20k to the power of 5. 20x20x20x20x20x1000 = 3.2 billion. Rough guess. Since the imoutos are weaker (20,000 to 400) 3.2 x 50 = 16 billion. 16 billion needed

Oh Crap, I miscalculated. It should be 20k to the power of 3 instead, meaning 20x20x20 x (1000)^3 = 8000 x 1000,000,000
= 8000,000,000,000 (8 trillion). Since the number is not exact , we allow deriavation thus amount needed is ~ 8.3 trillion.

Hmmmm. MISAKA's goggles compensate for their visual shortcomings as compared to Mikoto, the Original. Electron trails and all that.
So what do UIHARU's goggles do?

now i recompute

8,300,000,000,000 / 6,800,000,000 (2009 estimate) then that means => 1220.5 Uiharu Imoutos per man, woman, gay, lesbian, trap, reverse trap and child in the world- of 2009!

and speaking of sugar upkeep...

taking the global sugar production of 159,887,000 tons (estimate 2009) and rationing it each Uiharu imouto...

159,887,000 / 8,300,000,000,000 = 1.92 tons of sugar per imouto per year, that means Each one would take about 11 lbs of sugar per day!!!!

and no, Artificials don't cut it. but we can probably restrict it to about 1 pound a day.

Let's see... using Level Upper made Saten a Level 1. The Level Upper Psychic Network had 10,000 espers or varying levels in it (ranging from Level 0's to Level 3's as a Level 4 reaching Level 5 would have been mentioned otherwise) and it was this shared power that made all its members power-up (the analogy used was that of a computer network with all joined computers increasing each others mental processing speed ever so slightly rather than increasing their actual power).

If the extra processing speed (no killing required) from 10,000 espers between 0 and 3 made Saten a Level 1, then, at a guess, she should actually be somewhat close to reach Level 1 already, and just needs an extra push in her own mental processing ability. So as long as killing gives a significant boost, she shouldn't need to kill too many to reach Level 1.

Uiharu is a Level 1, so the weaker clones should be Level 0's and thus powerless. Even if these are the modified WORST clone types that appear later in the light novels, they should still be one level below the original, still making them Level 0's.

Accelerator needed to kill 20,000 Level 3's to reach Level 6, which would supposedly make him a God (not sure if his Awakened State counts as a Level 6 or not). However, he only need to kill 128 Level 5's of Mikoto's strength to get the same result. That's a pretty damn big difference.

So, at a guess, killing 5,000 Uiharu clones should produce enough energy for her to reach Level 1, maybe, heck probably less. It depends on how much power she gets from killing them as opposed to the enahnced mental prowess she got from the Level Upper Network as well as whether or not the same amount of mental energy is required for advancing through each level. I kind of doubt the leap from Level 0 to Level 1 is as steep as from Level 5 to Level 6 (especially given the massive difference in power between Level 5's, as seen between Accelerator and Misaka).

That said, it does bring up an interesting point though. Apparently Espers in the Indexverse are like video game characters and can level up by killing enough "enemies" of a sufficient level, under the right circumstances. Makes me wonder if anyone will ever try something like that or if there just isn't enough non-cloned espers to make the effort feasible (especially since Level 4's would be way too weak to kill over a 100 other Level 4's, let alone thousands of Level 3's and lower, without getting caught or killed). Its really only feasible with Accelerator because he was the only Level 5 who was "invincible". Even Kakine might get done in by a lucky shot, but Acclerator didn't have to worry about that initially.
