Actually, if you look next to each character, you'll see a number, except for the girl with the fire and ice, it says EX for her, so I would assume she is the EX-boss

These are NOT Touhou character. Again, NOT Touhou character. I suppose they're FANON, so I'll take the Touhou tag out. Or someone can add the "FANON" or "Fanart" tag, that will be OK.

They are tagged as touhou original on pixiv so leave the fucking tag alone.

And this "fucking tag" often make people who are new to Touhou get misunderstanding.

No, people can google things they misunderstand. Pixiv tags also tag it as touhou related fanart, so stop taking the tag off.

Pixiv tag it as "Touhou Original" not exactly "Touhou" standalone I think we should have a Touhou original tag too to prevent misunderstanding.

Pixiv can have tagged what the fuck it wants, but this is neither canon Touhou, nor generally recognized fanon Touhou character. They're just sketches of girls with LOLRANDOM accessories. But yeah, if you want to have it tagged in a stupid and confusing matter so badly, do what the hell you want.

Er, do they really deserve the negative record you gave them? Yeah they messed with the post's tag, but a negative record is a little heavy for such a silly little thing.

I feel that it should stay tagged as touhou. The whole picture is centered on that idea. The original tag and the absence of any character tags should at least hint anybody the idea that they are fan made.

At least, I don't get why this and your reference tag as Touhou. Because pixiv tag as Touhou?

Then, what is the meaning of touhou tag in those image? Anything that can be any part of touhou, Zun style drawing or with touhou word written in the image?

I just wonder if it tag as Marvel / FF / DQ or something from pixiv.

Well, I really don't mind as long as it had tag [original - in this case] tell that it not something direct from the series.

We don't really have an ironclad rule regarding this sort of "not canon but intentionally made in the style of" phenomenon.

It appears that 東方オリジナル is an actual tag on Pixiv with over 300 images (plus more since this one wasn't tagged with it, though it's in the title). And I know I've seen instances of this before where we use the Touhou tag. Not just with Touhou, either - almost any large copy tag + chartags:0 is going to return results for made-up characters who aren't in the original work. I ran into some with Nanoha when I was cleaning up those, for example.

My decision is: leave both copyright tags. It's an original work very intentionally done in the style of Touhou character designs. Using both tags (and no char: tags) gets the point across clearly enough, and even if it doesn't there's this whole lovely comment discussion to clue people in.
