Kojiro wasn't a true servant, since he was summoned by a servant, he was instead a nameless swordsman's soul confined in the body of a Wraith, in basic terms, he was a "Sasaki Kojiro as assassin" classed heroic servant candidet. In fact all the true assassins are all wraiths since none of them are the "real" Hassan Il-Sabin.
