I'm sure it'd be an interesting and artistic challenge trying to get it to fit in, but the saber is meant to be the unborn child and I feel like there really isn't any good way to showcase their attacks and abilities, without resorting to possibly old 1960's styled western cartoon physics (like Wile E. Coyote or Looney tunes physics).
