Fictional characters don't deserve respect. I keep my respect for actual people who achieve great deeds, like fighting off alcoholism, or turning out well despite having atrocious parents. Not for a fictional brat who can't decide if he's a boy or a girl.

They absolutely do. Just not in the same way real people do
I swear 90% of trans Bridget posts aren't people just enjoying the character, or enjoying the "representation" but smugly talking about how some theoretical other side "lost". Incredibly annoying and a bit worrying.

I'm more surprised people are still stirring the pot on this. This fire has been burning needlessly for so long, because some people from both sides seem to continue to add their sticks into it, just to keep the unnecessary fighting going. Please just put this whole business to rest.

In case you're under the impression that the artist is beating a dead horse, this is an old pic from half a year ago. It's the very belated repost here that's causing drama.

It was more of a general sense I was referring to, either from the older members here or the new accounts suddenly springing up and starting fires on posts like this. It really feels like we just can't appreciate and enjoy things anymore, without someone in the corner trying to start a fight, either because they want to troll or because they genuinely think their voice should be heard more than anyone else's.
