This is not the right place to say that, Anon. You need to head over to Pixiv, where he posts his comics, and tell him there, where he might actually read it.

Through I totally agree with you, I don't think I ever heard of devs suing someone over a fancomic. And I read some fucked shit where the cute loli characters from TERA Online are fed each others after being bred for months. So if these sick fucks can go around without being suing, someone like Guin Guin who makes heartwarming stuff should be okay.

While Guin has mentioned he does know his stuff is uploaded here and is fine with it to my knowledge, you may want to direct this comment more directly to him on Pixiv or Twitter. That said he does need to understand we get it's his fan work and he doesn't need to constantly clarify like this

He reads danbooru comments too, he's mentioned the site, including having gotten ideas from our comments.

I don't know why either of you think he's worried about being sued. He's obviously worried about upsetting AK fans, and after the comments he got on post #6070464 I don't blame him.

I do agree the constant "this is just fanon" reminder gets a little tiring after a while, though.

Reminders that this is fanon likely has more to do with potentially upsetting the audience than the developers/IP holders.

That was actually very helpful to know, I think it's incredibly stupid that randos on the internet can't ignore artwork they don't like and instead had to fling hate at Guin who to my knowledge has never even been remotely problematic

I’ve never understood the concept of flinging hate at fan artists for what they draw. The closest I get is constructive criticism if I think it’s good but flawed, and maybe a little snarkiness if it’s actively trying to be offensive. If I just plain don’t like it then I go find something else to look at.
