My guess is that they're trying to build their own baby crib and Yor put a bit too much strength in her backswing, popping herself in the face.

Uh here's a pretty dark idea.

Yor had the brilliant idea to make the crib around the baby and we'll yeah that's not her blood notice how it's around her hands not flowing out of it.

And the blood on her right thigh as well that's another point of concern.

Look even closer: the handle of the hammer has some kind of pinkish outline of fingers.

Looks like she whacked her nose with the hammer, hence the blood coming from her face, a bit on her knee and of course the bloody tissues by the hammer.
No miscarriage involved?? She may well be pregnant but I seriously doubt a hammer to the nose would affect pregnancy... especially *Yor's* pregnancy. Weird take to have if you do think this is a miscarriage..

It's fairly close to her knee, I'd say while sitting similar to as she is, the blood flow caused it to drip down onto her leg. She is clutching her face not her stomach.
