    Cute! A lot of people seem to ignore or just don't work with the fact that Reimu is this pre-teen/teenaged girl (or at least she was at the start of the series) trying to make a living maintaining a shrine all by herself, while also fighting monsters that could literally kill her by accident for a rather ungrateful public, for absolutely no pay and very little appreciation, and ironically enough most of her friends end up being those very same monsters who could easily kill her with an ambush if they felt so inclined.

    Its no wonder she comes off as cynical, heartless and rude in most portrayals. I still remember the only time we've seen her cry in canon was when the shrine, her home, was destroyed and she could do nothing about it.
