She's just not willing to use a vampire's many weaknesses to beat Remilia. Not that she knows about those weaknesses at that point, but she wouldn't resort to them even when she did.

That indeed,because it would be unfair,and also because Hong Meiling,or rather this author " shino (ponjiyuusu)" through her ,is starting to highlight 2 very great Virtues plus Improvements ,and in very great need to be truly recognized and lively exercised more and more...
Being Humble/Modest,while Not Being Weak/Coward,plus Being at Peace/Happy with Oneself,own one's Lot in life and
Neighbours,while not being Oportunistic/Hypocrite/Deluded.
