    I can hear the "Nyaaa" in that top panel but the "AAAAA" in the second means she did bite him. Hopefully he's not allergic.

    On second thought, maybe the thought that she would be friendly was what kept him from kicking her away after she was clearly rearing to nail his toe.

    I live in a state where large spiders, scorpions and social-space-inepts wasps also live, but centipedes are my largest fear of all.

    Their bites hurt. If you want a similar experience without the risk, giant millipedes are probably the way to go unless you already have experience keeping centipedes... and even then, I wouldn't free handle the smaller centipedes either.

    Their bites don't only hurt they can be fatal in the wrong circumstances

    Possibly interesting bit of trivia. The venomous things centipedes bite with (forcipules) aren't actually fangs; they're modified front legs.
