Although makes sense (in-game wise), it was a big stretch to think Dies are represented as Lumine. Dies represent Day, while Lumine means "Light". The stretch is since there are "light" in "day", it means there are "Lumine" in "Dies".
But in Genshin, we also have Diluc, which is short of Diluculum that means "Dawn", so saying "Lumine" is representing "Day" could implicates that she is related to "Dawn" too
