genius, marketing team really should take a hint from this

I've had thumb drives that got warm after large transfers, but it would take a lot to make one smoke enough to make this work.

You must be kidding. If anyone should be doing a product like this it should be GSC for the USB and Max Factory for a Celty Figma. Play-Arts are pretty low-quality compared to Figma, even Revoltech is better.
