    So I learned recently that apparently Akamatsu Ken ran as a candidate for essentially the equivalent of a senator in Japan last year and actually won. That's kind of interesting. His manga and anime were among the first that I read and watched back in the day. He's now got a little political manga of himself on his Twitter.
