Amparos vs. pikachu? You underestimate him too much!

Actually, I always thought of the "vs. Red" battles as more of a "fuck it, I may as well try" thing.

Sad thing is pikachu doesn't even look like its trying.

you know ever since hg and ss came out i've been wondering o.o have people been playing as Kotone or did they choose Gold as their character...or did they get both for both reasons?

I always play as the guy, 'cause I am the guy, and regard my characters as avatars of myself, rather than some other being that I happen to have control over (this is how a friend of mine approaches character creation(/selection)). Especially nowadays, since you can play online. Also, Lyra's hat is dumb.

well to answer your question, I usually play a female character unless the male character is badass enough to play. so Kotone this round because New Gold is pretty lame.

The only one I where I didn't play as the female character (if given a choice) was Emerald, because I couldn't stand the way Haruka looked at all. May be a rather shallow way to play it, but that's generally how I approach it. Leaf would be my favorite because she has a nice hat.

I'm the same way but I didn't like Kotone's hat in HG/SS it looks to stupid

I chose Gold simply cuz Kotone can't compare with my memories of Kris (Crystal). Miss that girl...

Looking at this image is a bit weird for me cause i fought Red's Pikachu with my Ampharos the other day.
