They're a canon couple in another universe (in a series that often subjects multiple incarnations of characters to the same events. See: Himeko) and they display a clear chemistry in Star Rail.
It's no different from literally any other popular ship, and your comment is no different from the people that complain about them being shipped with Caelus.

Display of chemistry in Star Rail? Bro have you ever had a best friend in your life? It's a serious question regardless of it being harsh or offensive. Plus, multiverse exists for a reason and it's mentioned many times, nothing is stated clearly nor showed as a hint about it except for Welt; reincarnation has been only in a certain specific cases but once again, multiverse exists. A thing that happens in a place of the cosmos doesn't bound every other existing plains of existence.

Considering Seele's backstory and Bronya's is not something you can call chemistry because their close and always backed each other up in Star Rail, and don't even mention offical art as a proof, it's called merchandising and promoting a thing that's not confirmed just to lure atention and sales in every case, but even if there was some innuendo which is not in their case it's still the same repetitive argument of "they're so close" or "look at this and this" when it's not even confirmed. A headcanon is a headcanon

they are platonic friends in star rail, there is too much to do on Jarilo to bother with fanon sex.

I'm just gonna keep this simple, because apparently explaining why people ship characters (as if it was somehow different from 99% of ships) is an invitation for people to argue over how they're definitely not gay: Go outside.

Alright, a fair point, but all I'm seeing these days about star rail is lots of fanarts of this kind which is not bad at all, it is in fact normal, but seeing a person that doesn't go outside to yell that this shipp is canon, with proofs and start a riot against whoever says that they're not a canon couple it's rather hard, which is saddening. I've met way too many people like that and nowadays I don't expect much from anyone who creates this kind of fanart. Specially when in some countries heterosexual relationships look like "evil", take for example Spain.
But once again, I don't mind fanart about shipps, what buggs me off is when people are extremely persistent and tries to impose their own headcanon on others by force, which is basically a huge percentage of the community of star rail.

Yeah, shipping always been a cesspool of toxicity among fandoms. Literally just people arguing over something they like and forcing their headcanon onto people's skull, until it devolve into a flame war in the fandom, there is nothing good in it.
If you value your sanity and mental health, stay away from those stuff in fandom, if you like some ship in Honkai, just keep it for your self.
I don't get it, I don't think I ever saw that kind of arguments in Touhou, but Genshin Impact and Star Rail seem to have fans that are a lot more passionate than usual. I mean, Touhou isn't safe either, there's still the usual "yuri artist post yuri stuff and get upset that straight people talks of kissing one of the girls in the picture", like pote did, but I don't think it got as bad as here. Then again, Vigil's pouring oil on the fire, so that doesn't help.

I'm gonna quote someone else for this: oi fuck off.
Don't sit on your high horse and single me out just for telling people that feel compelled to comment how much they dislike a ship, and argue over how it's definitely not canon when nobody asked, to get some fresh air. The dude who started it even let it go, so what's your excuse?

Touhou is not as popular as it was 10 years ago. Current fandoms have very loud and easily offended minorities recluted by democrats and republicans to defend absurd fanfics you simply brushed off and moved on with life before. Now they want to force on us genderswaps, groomings or any kind of relationships (zoophilic, bestial, hetero, homo, etc.) like everyone are obliged to like them.

I dunno, Touhou had the yukkuris, and the "family_friendly" side and the "torture" side were at odds, but I don't remember things getting that heated. In my memories, everyone stayed on their own sides.
