Granted, Samus's equipment outclasses anything in the Fallout 'verse by a ridiculous margin. I mean, in its most basic form it has an infinite ammo energy cannon with a pretty respectable firing rate.

Fallout has the most broken critical hit table though, where you can kill the 999 hp boss in one 7 hp shot because it rolled 'instant death #6' on the critical hit table.

Not even Prime. Try Mother Brain's 'Walker form' from Super Metroid. The only reason Samus won was because of plot. I mean, all of these guys are badass in their own right, but if we're talking the kind of monster hunting the titular series is known for, Samus is the most well-prepared and well-equipped.

Why isn't Isaac Clarke using a Pulse Rifle in this picture? The Plasma Cutter he's got here isn't very visually interesting from a head-on perspective. The tri-barrelled Pulse Rifle would look much more interesting from a head-on front view.

Better yet, why isn't the East Coast BoS Pally using a tri-barrel lasrifle or the minigun?

Samus is Nintendo-exclusive, and Killzone is Sony-exclusive. Freeman's prolly not in because Half-Life is primarily a PC franchise.

Actually, if you read the descriptions, a good majority of the weapons used in Dead Space were originally tools for mining operations, like the Line Gun, or the Rivet Gun. Others escape my mind at the time, but yeah.

Better question, what dafuq is that gun he's wielding? It sure as hell isn't from the Fallout 'verse. And screw the laser rifle, mini nuke is the way to go in a game with no concept of ammo. Or does monster hunter do ammo?
