Out of the cast we know, regular humans (incl. Marisa & Reimu) have passed away first, and next go human-turned-youkais (incl. Alice here). A Patchouli/Alice pairing is hinted at, but not made explicit. Perhaps Patchouli loved her but never confessed? Perhaps Alice rejected her, staying true to Reimu's memory? Or maybe they were just close friends.
One would imagine it has been a long wait for Alice since Reimu's death.

Going with my theory of once you turn youkai you might as well half the abilities of a half-human-half-youkai crossbreed, Alice would only have half the lifespan of a youkai.
