MCU did most comic stuff better. Comic sales are consistently in downward spiral in the US for decades, because they mostly aren't good. MCU avoided so much of the pitfalls of the industry for a long time. It's becoming unsustainable now, but it's still better than what the comics have been for decades

Even before the mcu was a thing. The marvel movies have always been a powerful force that dictated the comics. When Spider-Man 3 came out, Spider-Man in the comics started wearing a black venom like costume.
When they reveal she was a mutant. I was like okay, when does she join the x men!
