A direct hit would cause something like that to just shatter like glass, and I don't think anyone likes having shards of stuff embedded in their face along with a baseball.
what i love more than them not being able to take patchy's no for an answer, is how, in panel 3, patchy tries so hard to keep from being moved, it makes sparks off the ground.
Somehow, I think that Suika is going to be able to hit that ball into low-Earth orbit if she manages to get in a good swing. I think the more likely problem will be a wild pitch or something that otherwise requires movement.
If she actually catches the ball, she'll then have to throw it back to someone... and she probably will be unable to throw the ball more than a couple inches, or be able to run close enough to hand the ball off to anyone, or be able to bat when it's her turn.
And unless she cheats with magic, this either ends with Patchu leaving in a stretcher because she is hit with a stray ball she wasn't fast enough to catch, or she collapses from exhaustion from trying to run from one base to another.
methinks Suika will hit the ball with enough force to go around the outside world and come back to Gensokyo to hit Patchy in the back of the head. Of course, Marisa will coincidentally be nearby when this happens and will give Patchy treatment.
Im woried Sukia will fail cause she's not drunk ending in Patchi getting bat to da head. Then Sukia has a drink (even though shes a kid here) and becomes a drunken baseball master.
