Below is a question that was asked on discord yesterday.
It's a new outfit for students in collaboration with Japanese convenience store Lawson, but what should be the middle qualifier? `_(lawson)_` or `_(cvs)_` or `_(part-time_job)_`? (lol last naming weird) The apron actually printed ANGEL's 24, not lawson.
It's not a Lawson uniform, it's the angel's 24 uniform so I don't see what the point of creating individual character tags for it is. The fact this was drawn for a Lawson collab doesn't change that it's an existing outfit with its own tag.
Even if this warranted new character tags, why wouldn't it just be (angel's 24)?

This is because even though this is an officially released costume, if it doesn't have a separate chartag, it can be treated as just cosplay and not as an official_alternate_costume like the other characters not related the collab.
It would have been nice if it was a costume more associated with lawson, but since it was still a costume added through the collaboration, I felt _(lawson)_ qualifer is more appropriate.

That doesn't make any sense. An outfit doesn't need its own tag to be treated like an official outfit. These tags are just padding if we have a general tag for the uniform. Just add official alternate costume where appropriate, we don't need to overcomplicate everything.

Not everyone has an infinite search limit like you, and I think it's a good idea to create a new tag that can be clearly separated from the default chartag.
I made a BUR in bulk update request #19124 to alias idol chartag to costume tag, which is the exact opposite of what I'm suggesting here(Maybe I was in a different position then), and the fact that that BUR hasn't been passed yet is an indirect indication of where the admins stand.

You literally only need two tags for this. Precisely because you created a general tag for the outfit. Try it.
Hell if anything just hange it to <character>_(angel's_24 uniform)_(blue_archive) or something if you want to get technical. Personally i'd rather it just not have a tag at all. We already have the angel's_24_uniform general tag, and it's not a popular variant costume like kotori_(cheer_squad)_(blue_archive) is, because it's not even in the game.
