It was just a desperate act of hasty self-defense
when Youmu turned ex for a moment, taking Sakuya

Sakuya facing up to whatever Yuyuko might give her just to save a small child's life, who she probably feels bad for causing such a tragedy for in the first place and is rather glad to see she's not dead. Any way that's not heart warming?

Last I checked, we don't know Sakuya's real age either, and Meida no Akyuu suspects that Sakuya is much older than her appearance suggests. With Sakuya's ability to manipulate Time, a little superhuman longevity doesn't seem odd. (I mean, if she didn't have a way to retard her aging, her frequent uses of Time Stop to maintain the SDM would only accelerate her comparative aging, turning her into an old lady rapidly.
