I don't want to be responsible if i somehow manage to put a wrong tag
Have you considered the fact that it is a mere line of text, and that it would only take another edit to correct it? And that even if you were to have a seizure at your keyboard and muck the whole thing up it would take the mods to snap their fingers and return the tags to their pre-mucked up form?

What's the point of trying to tell me that? You could've added the tag yourself instead of writing this wall of text and not try to convince me to add it myself

The point is so you understand messing up on a tag isn't as big of a deal as you're making it out to be and that any mistakes can be easily fixed. It's fine to ask if you're not sure whether a tag applies, but it's more efficient to add it yourself if you are sure. Also, two sentences is nowhere close to being a wall of text.

You don't even need to wait for the mods to do that. Any user can revert posts to any previous state by opening the tag history on that post.
