didn't know there were so many different copies of Joker Gaia Memory. and how does this relate to Eva 2.0 anyway?

It parodies the "Beast Mode" of Eva-02 in Rebuild of Evangelion.

Basically cylinders pop out of its back and the the Eva becomes more animalistic walking on all fours and starts EATING AT-fields.

I think this is also parodying Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, particularly the Triangle button there is almost exactly like some of the button prompts that appear in some of Peace Walker's cutscenes.

The cylinders also remind me of Flandre. Add tag?

Wrong, it's Maximum Drive.

Almost a decade late, but the symbols on the T2 Memories are using the Joker symbol. That's probably what NETRUN was referring to and not the text in the background.
