(Before Translation) Man, that's just so unfair. Poor Meiling wasn't even thinking of attacking... Was she?

Not to fear. Meiling's abs of steel deflected the sword blow but she was so surprised she smeared chocolate sauce on her face.

It's great practice for her, I'll give you that. If Yukari did that now, Meiling would just stand there with a bored look on her face asking "Are you done yet"?

You guys know that the sword cane is still on the bottom on the totem pole in swords and it's preferred because it is hidden?

Not that it isn't bad or anything, I'm all for trickery and deceit and think that the cane sword is nice weapon to have in when traveling.

Don't forget! She's China, and she's using the JAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO power. She can't be killed so easily.

Remember, she's used (in fanon) to take lots a knives in the head.
    She's not dead (halas).

Remember: This is BEFORE Sakuya joined up. No such resistance to stabbing and slashing exists yet.

It's hard to believe that a martial artist like Meiling wouldn't put up more of a fight even after being surprised before getting slashed.

I would have expected a martial artist of Meiling's caliber to have caught that sword between her hands and snap it in two or reverse the move and stab Yukari.

The author's just establishing just how skilled Yukari is in being able to cut her (with impossible amounts of dialogue being spoken simultaneously as a storytelling staple). Just seems a pedestrian way of defeating her, with Yukari's abilities.

...While I'm at it, Yukari referring to her servants with -san? Wha-?

For these two idiots to sever the border..
    Tch...
    Your disturbances are unneeded!
    Wah! Hey, wait, time out!
    Hmm? Customers?
Jeez, to come at such a time...
    What's with this moron?
Wait, she didn't just draw, that was a flash strike!剣閃 (lit: sword flash) seems to refer to drawing and striking in one move (as Yukari did to slice Meiling's hair), as opposed to simply drawing the sword. There doesn't seem to be a standard translation—or even pronunciation—available that I can find.
I will at least make it beautiful.
    Die a noble death.
