    Right. They're free to 'play' them. And I'm also free to turn the TV off because they turned an important sport event into a headache-inducing torture. I really pity the poor fans that have paid to see it live on the stadium.

    It's a right you have. But you have to remember that it's the World Cup hosted by south africans. It's their World Cup. FIFA didn't banned the germans from drinking beer during the games in 2006. If the World Cup were to be hosted in your country, you probably wouldn't like if FIFA banned the way your countrymen (or you) prefers to cheer.
