I dont understand the Watatsukis'. Reisen's and Tokiko's shop... I thought Tokiko would be something more of a bookstore... but since the artist is not going with that 'obvious joke' thingy, it should be ok

A stationary store would sell stuff to write letters/notebooks I believe.

It'd be a shame if the Watasukis' places were to burst into flames spontaneously.

Stationery is writing material, or, more specifically, paper. Since Akyuu writes the history of Gensokyo for a living, it's makes sense.
