Hmmm... is that a to be continued? If so, then please someone convey my thoughts on pixiv, and tell him, that I'm pleading for it... We need moar badass Rinnosuke. And he does that well.
You know, it'd be pretty cool if he would actually be in an actual game to get a canonical status as a repressed fighter. He may really be just holding back, despite saying "not really a fighter" or something like that in canon...
It'd be a first, since then there'd be a guy as a character in the game (not counting Unzan or Genji here as they're not standalone characters). Maybe a whole game of male characters? Nah. Wishful thinking, and Yukari could easily change that...
Well, its not like some of the characters dont already hold back. Alice refuses to use her Grimoire or go full power because "It would be a pain". And while letty only showed up in 1 game, she wasnt serious as well.
Ofcourse, everything i stated is a moot point anyway since everything after Touhou 6 has taken on the spell card system. The only times the characters were ever serious was Touhou 1-5.

I thought Alice held back because she didn't want to go full out, hitting her proverbial 'cap,' if you will, and then lose.
That's just what I've read, though. But yeah, we totally need sword/gun Kourin in one of the games, even if it's a fighter.
