If you look closely at the 5th panel from the end, the portal to the outside world is erased. Job's done, Yukari isn't going to fight anymore.

My only problem with this series is how fast the reclusive Sakuya can open her heart to a few youkai strangers. Or maybe her life in the real world is THAT bad that no one treats her like a human...

That, and the story is fast to get to the usual comedic nature after the slight gore in the human world...

I don't think little Izayoi is reclusive, per say... The artist was making a big point about how Sakuya didn't belong in the 'real' world. So, when she got to Gensokyo, she became her true self. Knifan', stoppan', maidan'.

When you get bullied so bad that as a little kid you have an actual hit list and do knife practice, I think it's safe to say she virtually never got shown kindness.
