I was surprised that Cure Sky willingly accepted corruption, but excited at the potential for character exploration as well as redemption. It indeed would have been interesting to see the development as shown above, where Sky becomes the true last boss of the series, and it takes all of her companions to bring her back from the darkness.
Instead we just get some the huge snake thingy Daijarg that literally came out of left field. Le sigh... >_<

Apparently that's also Darkhead/Skhearhead, as it's the manifestation of Undergu Energy, though personally, it really does feel like making him this persona of such an energy rather than say like a parasite of corruption is a writing corner in all honesty. Power cannot singularly measure a man. It is what one does with it, and in that, Darkhead literally has no greater purpose. He doesn't plan on using that strength, just being that strength. He's basically a worse Goku Black.
I don't dislike the turn of events at all, but I think at least one episode exploring Cure Sky's corruption would have sent this last arc absolutely over the moon. Instead it's just... pretty good!

I like this to be honest, at least as an exploration of power in the ways the show was setting up throughout. It just really seems like they needed at least one more episode to not make it so rushed, or at least have it be explained/explored more thoroughly, which it honestly felt like the show was building up to in the end.
(Also, it goes without saying - but I absolutely adore Cure Sky's corrupted design.)
