Nijisanji's termination notification is interesting, not that I believe their side of any story beyond that they likely greatly twisted what occurred. They allege she frequently violated and disregarded copyright holders by not receiving proper confirmation and authorization, which included using works and assets that belonged to other Nijisanji members without authorization. They also allege that they warned her repeatedly, and she repeatedly would not respond to her manager. Then they state she "posted false or misleading information" on social media that the violations were caused by mismanagement of ANYCOLOR. In response they gave her an ultimatum in May of 2023 that if she engaged in any further violations, including "engaging in false or misleading statements that could damage [ANYCOLOR's] reputation" would result in termination.
The unauthorized use of other Nijisanji member works and assets was also one the justifications they used with Zaion's termination, which makes me wonder what process the company expects to get authorization and who holds the rights for the member's works and assets. In Zaion's case she argued that playing one of the other member's music videos was what triggered the violation, if so, that makes me curious at what they consider violations for Selen.

Yeah, sorry not sorry Niji but terminating Selen ain't gonna work out the way you wanted. It might've worked out with Zaion because she wasn't around for very long but with Selen it's a totally different story. Selen has been around for years and built up a very loyal fan base as well as a great reputation among casual vtuber fans, other popular vtubers and heck even just popular streamers in general as well. So no matter what you say, Niji fans are not gonna drink the Kool aid this time around. To be fair I haven't read the termination notice (and I never FREAKING WILL) but it doesn't take a genius to see this whole situation stinks with Nijisanji's management being the great big turd in the center. Even if you were a super casual fan who didn't know about any drama or secondary info regarding the recent graduations, you'd still notice the trend of all these popular talents leaving closely behind one another.

The statement Any Color released on Twitter is just so cowardly, accusing and blaming Selen for everything and casually brushing aside allegations of mismanagement and harassment. Any Color is always the common denominator in these graduations and controversies, it's so frustrating to see it happen again.
Edit: I just saw on her personal account that she confirmed her hospitalization in December was due to a suicide attempt from all of the distress this situation caused. Just evil.

We should not point fingers among the the livers but Nijisanji should really have handled this situation knowing that they actually know the harassment was happening, their incompetency and mismanagement to the situation is just too infuriating. I'm just glad Selen is finally out of that hell hole and this stupid company is getting what it really deserves.

The issue here is that they are shifting blame. It's not that "they knew it was happening"; THEY were responsible for it. Nijisanji is a Japanese company run by a borderline Yakuza - dealing with energetic, proactive western content creators is something that they have no desire to do.
They loathe and despise every activity run by their livers that does not have their stamp of initiative on it. If Niji didn't come up with the idea, you simply can't do it. Pomu testified to losing opportunities because of it, Zaion was burned by the general same reason. Do you remember the Nijisanji Express and how it was just completely slashed and burned?

Selen's youtube mods had a stream running on her channel earlier that was counting down until Dokibird hit 100k subscribers. Niji has since put a stop to that, of course. It is very safe to say that no one that isn't directly on Niji's payroll is on Niji's side.

Also keep in mind the statement from Niji claims Selen has repeatedly broken the rules since she joined, which would mean, assuming they're not lying (we all know they are), they've had two years of opportunities to fire her, and just let her continue to be impossible to work with. I guess that's supposed to make them sound patient and generous, but it honestly just makes them sound highly incompetent. Who allows an employee to violate the terms of their contract repeatedly and completely ignore communications from management for two straight years and never does anything about it?

That voice pack sale has ended, but there's another one coming later this month. It was announced a few days ago and will be starting on Wednesday, to run through the end of the month. Featuring Selen Tatsuki and a few other livers.
