    Yellow subtitles with black borders are the most visible. You can see them no matter what they're in front of.

    Yeah, it's a lot better than using those white subtitles that Rebuild of Evangelion tried to use in its DVDs. Made it near impossible to read them in scene with a lot of light.

    Agreed. I even had a teacher tell the class that he couldn't see the subtitles in a movie just because they were in WHITE.
