It is not Basara's custom VF-19. That is the VF-19S, flown by the leader of Emerald Force. Basara's has full wings, canards, and is red. Designed for space use, it has cropped wings and no canards. Blue with yellow striping is only worn by that plane in the show. The other two Emerald Force planes, VF-19F, had white striping.
