Hellhound

Once a rare sight outside of the distant remains of Sansha's empire, Hellhound battlecruisers have been appearing in greater and greater numbers, commanding squadrons of Phantasm cruisers in daring incursions into even the most heavily defended empire systems.

Like its smaller cousin, the Hellhound is armed with advanced reactor systems that allow it to push its laser batteries to levels thought suicidally insane by traditional engineers. Combined with impressive shield strength and warfare link capability, the Hellhound is capable of engaging and destroying any cruiser or battlecruiser in known space.

(Note: I am aware that the name "Hellhound" is already taken by a Sansha ship, and have used it to allow the ship to exist already in the EVE background.)
