I want to refute that, but the only counter I have to that is it feels refreshing and makes you cleaner than normal.
I hope this doesn't spawn some weird, shower wars.
Well yeah, if you don't really go out and meet people it's more of a personal thing, if you want to shower more often then good for you, don't let me stop you. Though it's not healthy to shower every single day.
If daily showers are causing dry skin which can happen if you use soap daily, consider switching to a shower oil. I'm not talking about soap that has a hint of almond/avocado/whatever oil, but a proper shower oil like: Amazon: Nivea Shower Oil Natural Caring 200ml From Germany Note: Not recommending to buy though Amazon, it's far more cheaper if you buy it at your local stores, but it's an option
This is a brand that I can personally recommend and is readily available here in Europe for a reasonable price. It has no heavy perfume scent and it leaves your skin silky smooth, yet still gives a thorough cleaning especially if you use a washcloth/sponge/loofah. It also works shockingly well against grease stains (think garage work) on your hands without having to reach for aggressive detergents that leave your skin like a barren cracked landscape.
Not sure what kind of brands are available in the US, but surely you people have something similar there.
