Ah, the infamous GT3 ATS-V.R. Cadillac decided to run these SOLELY as factory efforts and never got any customer teams (supposedly they never even intended to sell them despite that being the whole point of GT3), which eventually led to it being banned in 2018 by the addition of a minimum production requirement. Now for GT3s to be legal, the manufacturer must build and sell 10 cars during the first year of homologation, and have a total of at least 20 sales by the end of the car's second year.

I was wrong, this is the earlier CTS-V.R racecar, much less controversial but still an interesting piece of Cadillac's racing history. It was created to race in the SCCA Speed World Challenge (the pre-SRO form of GTWC America) and ran from 2004 to 2008.

That's a CTS-V.R. Front end gives it away. I THINK these were semi-silhoutte cars.

Still slightly incorrect. This is the 2nd gen CTS-V.R. This car was racing from ~2009 to 2014/15, when the ATS-V.R would've replaced it.
