What is this doing here? Didn't we already have this discussion of not approving his TwitPic art on here?
All his recent tweets are about this image being up here.
There's more on his Twitter but it's with him talking back and forth with others over the subject so I couldn't see some of his replies to some other people but they're still viewable on his main page (which he recently privatized because of another user that stalked him or something?), if you follow him, but that's if you're willing to backtrack replies.
Blue4 said: Yes, we did, and it was concluded that if he wanted it taken down, he should ask the Danbooru admins, and until he asks them that they'll remain.
As said before, that's still rather rude as to how his word doesn't stand unless this happens.
The dude. Doesn't. Want. His. Twitter pics. Uploaded. Here. He's said so REPEATEDLY. It's been discussed here REPEATEDLY. You can keep making excuses (and I imagine you probably will), but the fact of the matter is you are willfully ignoring his clearly stated wishes, which makes you DICKS. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

...And?
What does he care if his image is up here? What gives him the right to say no? Is he gonna break down Al's door and shoot him in the face if he refuses?
I'd just like to understand the other side's viewpoint on this matter.
Must feel really frustrating as an artist (he does count, yes) to specifically state that certain works shouldn't be thrown around, and then they do anyway by people that claim to be fans yet do whatever the hell they please with his shit. And seriously, these aren't as funny without the context of twitter. Just stop.
Mr_GT said: Why doesn't the artist just create an account on Danbooru personal and tell everyone to stop posting his artworks? Can't be that hard to do.
Let's flag it for deletion. It'll be faster than arguing over it.
JakeBob said: Okay, how're you guys all doing that? The post times (x minutes ago) are all over the place. 4? 6? 5? 1? 3? I AM CONFUSED.
Danbooru runs on two servers, and their clocks are often desynched. The timestamp on a post depends on which server handles a given comment, but the order of the posts does not.
Mr_GT said: *facepalm* Ah bloody hell. God I only got myself to blame for leaping into a situation before looking. :/
Well, the quote in forum #42997 pretty much seems to tell that the guy doesn't quite know what he wants, so whatever.

Three subdomains on only two servers? (I don't know how that stuff works.) I'm curious about how the workload is acutally split between the servers btw, since most people don't even know about them and browse the site only on danbooru.

Just so you don't feel totally bad:

I mean, the ones that are already there, I don't mind them, but it's mostly because the ones on my twitter are just going to be full of in-jokes and personal friend stuff that wouldn't make sense without any background information anyway.
I mean, the latest ones seem to be less in-jokey (then again, that's what makes it an in-joke, that only certain people get the reference), but he has asked for his Twitpic stuff to stay off Danbooru. I would assume that means all of them, unless someone got permission (like that two-parter Ichirin one), and since this popped up after the request, then you're fine to flag it for deletion.

sonohara.donmai.us and hijiribe.donmai.us each point to one of the two actual computers used to host danbooru; the danbooru.donmai.us address is for load balancing and ensures that both Sonohara and Hijiribe are accessed in roughly equal proportions. (And the Trac's on Sonohara only.)
NeoDarkKnight said: Yet... he's an exception to the "Western Style Illustrations" rejection rule?
Yes, because Touhou is relevant to the site, at least, and as long as I've been here it's been understood that as long as an image is worthy in some other way then it doesn't matter that it's of non-Japanese style or origin. It's not a rule that's set in stone.
In the end, there's nothing, at all, preventing LittleShrimp from coming here and saying exactly what he wants instead of letting his white knights continue fighting his battles for him and waiting for the goodness of the people of the Internet to come through on not uploading the pics he doesn't want on the site.
He's not a special case by any means and by now he must know what he has to do to prevent this in the future, but just hasn't cared enough to do so yet. At some point it falls on him to be more proactive about it.

...So where in this does he deathly care about his masterpieces being defiled? If nobody "gets" the in-jokes, doesn't that make it okay anyway?

Thanks. Funny how you have to log on all three of them still.
Who would want their shit to be uploaded to a site that's obviously full of selfish assholes anyway? The second someone mentions that LS is obviously displeased everyone here gets all defensive, and some people even have the audacity to say that he doesn't even have the right to what he wants with his own images. No doubt by having these uploaded on here, it attracts dicks who harass him or put out mean spirited comments towards his art. Either way, thanks to shitty fans like some of you he's reluctant to upload any art at all now.
He is nice enough to not request that danbooru takes away all what he has done. He doesnt like the idea of it but goes with it just cause he is being nice. Now stop being dicks and uploading his twitter stuff on danbooru, he at least requested for that. Then you wonder why he doesnt like the idea of his art being uploaded here.
You like his drawings even the twiter ones? Go to his twitter, look it up there.
"Edit" (technically its delete and post)
From the man himself on this very picture on his twitter
"what the fuck is this shitty comic doing on danbooru god damn it seriously"

So he needs to say the same thing on his twitter, on deviantart and here? ...why? he is the who drew it in the first place so he decides where it goes, it's common sense
But hey instead of doing that we just got a better solution, privatize the twitter account and then NO ONE can see it ¡good job! now bitch about it fans
Danbooru isn't a special case either, first comes what the artist wants THEN danbooru

It's Danbo policy for the artist to directly contact Albert if they don't want X art to be posted here. In this case, Littleshrimp's Wiki entry would then be updated to say "No pics that came from Twitpic allowed." and that's about that.
Has he actually ever said WHY he doesn't like it being here? DA is full of tools and he pretty much flatly denies Twitter requests, whats the point of making art if you're the only one and a select group of other to see it?

His Twitter Art is the equivalent of inside jokes with his friends. That's all.

Really, I love his art style and sense of humor but if he just doesn't want his stuff uploaded here, shouldn't that be enough?
LilacTempest said: Really, I love his art style and sense of humor but if he just doesn't want his stuff uploaded here, shouldn't that be enough?
Yes, but if there was an alternative, he's become too secretive about his Twitter that a lot of his fans can't actually see his works to get the jokes, and he's said he'll probably stop posting on DA. While I may not get the joke, I'd actually like to see that he is still active and making works instead of just shunning anyone that has barely heard of him. Honestly, I just think it's a bad move as an artist to make it too secretive to where you lose fans.

This.
Only artists can vouch for themselves. If they can't be bothered enough to make a removal request in person then they're not serious, and no fanboys army will change that.
